No, I'm not talking about the skyrocketing prices of gas (that's for another time)...I'm talking about the fuel of life, the momentum that pushes us forward. Every so often, we find ourselves inspired or moved my an experience, person, or event. For me that fuel has come in the form of the wonderful opportunities afforded to me while studying in Colorado. While I am only a sophomore (for you seniors that are reading this, you can relate to this even more), I have become so overwhelmed (in all senses of the word), by the life I have created for myself out here. I have met so many amazing people, joined some great groups and organizations, taken some awesome--and exhausting--classes, and been enthralled by my surroundings. Whether it be the Flatirons, a weekend skiing with friends, or spending time digging deeper into my new journey in faith; I am so grateful to have so many opportunities pushing me forward. Being wrapped up in the excitement of college life, I am fueled by what I have going on in my life every day. We all have those things that motivate and inspire us. It is important, that we are able to be reminded of this while the pressures and conflicts in our lives seem to be overwhelming. We have to take a step back and remember what it is that fuels us...to take advantage of today and invest in future opportunities. So whether it be school, work, finance or whatever; we shouldn't let ourselves be consumed by our stresses. Instead we should be fueled to take advantage of -and enjoy the wonderful benefit of school, work and the like.
